Security is more important today than every before. What I don't understand is why you folks won't keep your systems up to date. It takes very little time, about 15 minutes a month is all. I suggest you visit http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online/ click on start scanner. If this is your first time using this service then wait until the add on box opens and allow it. Next click on start scan and let it run. On my machine it runs in about 1 minute, on most of my client's computers it takes from 7 to 20 minutes. When the scan is done it will show you what specific programs you need to update. It will further give you a download box for each program you need to get. Easy and simply, just the way I like my computer to be. Don't change any of the settings, don't download their on your computer program. You don't need any of this, just play it the way I say it and all will be well, one more important point. Many of you are still using Windows XP and that means your machine is getting older. At least once a week when you boot your system, check your date, bottom right in the system tray. If your date is not correct your computer will not do updates or run correctly. The problem is simply your backup battery in your system has died. Get your tech to install a new battery, it is important. You will most likely need a CR2032 type battery. They are available at Office Depot and most likely all drugstores in the area. If you want to change it yourself, be careful, be a shame to slam your entire machine, hope this helps, Don G
