There is an operating system available to all for free. The name is Ubuntu. For the most part it is a nice operating system. No it is not Windows or OSX. But it is free, free, free. You can download it here: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download . If you have an old computer just sitting in the closet or garage, wherever, you should consider downloading this system and installing it on the unit. It will run on almost anything. As a test you can actually boot the system from the CD you burn it to, giving you the ability to test the unit you plan to install it on. They have tons of information about the system on the page above. I suggest you give it a try and experience a different world. You only cost will be your time spent downloading the image and the time it takes to burn the install disk and while all this is going on you will be learning about something different. It comes complete with a word processor, spreadsheet, video, movie, audio software. Basically it is a truly complete system. Let me know if you give it a try and what you think. Have fun, Don G
